Here at Meno.tv we love old-skool video walls, and we'll tell you why....
They can be arranged into virtually any configuration imaginable. As well as the 'standard' configurations of 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, & 5x5, we can make long vertical strips, 8x2 superwide Screens and even pyramids.
They can easily be switched to have one image spanning the entire wall, or one image on each screen
They are extremely bright, and can be seen on an outdoor festival stage even during the day, something even the brightest projector struggles to competer with.
They require surprisingly little space, and can be positioned behind a band or Dj against a back wall with as little as 50cm clearance. No more problems of bands or backstage crew casting shadows on the screens as with projectors.
They carry an unique aesthetic and can easily be framed with branding or signage.
The technological driving force behind our video walls are a pair of Media technologies Brick Video wall controllers. These are almost unique to their kind in that they are able to output both RGB video and Composite video. This means they can turn ANYTHING into a workable video wall provided it takes a composite video input, including video cubes, data projectors and even standard televisions.
